“Best Steak Frites in the world.” Reviewed March 21, 2012: "NEW lovely neighborhood restaurant with exceptional food and very friendly honest service. Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand perfectly chilled - how often do restaurants serve this wine luke warm? Amazing salad (and I live in California the home of great salads). The steak frites was simply the best I have had in France, USA, the world. Beautifully moist truffle oil fries and local steak. Husband had wonderful gumbo and shrimp & grits which were delicious. Very friendly and honest service from Will - culinary delight."

We had shrimp and grits and etouffe among us. Food was divine. We sat outside and listened to the live music coming from next door. So fun. The inside of the restaurant also looked quite elegant and calm, which would be nice on another kind of evening. We were visiting from Washington, DC and felt quite brilliant to discover such an excellent restaurant on a week night after a laborious day, so far from home."

"My wife and I went here last night. We were very impressed. It just might be our favorite place. We enjoyed the raw bar platter. Everything was perfect. We also enjoyed the cornmeal crusted oysters. Now, this had okra with it that was cooked to perfection. Service was also perfect. I am sure we will be back soon."
